Election Records was founded by Amák (ex-Sunshine, Night) and Jiří (ex-Anyway) in 2008 in London. This pair has extensive experience of the music industry from the smallest indie label to the biggest major. The idea for the label came about because of a dark time in the industry, and is now the platform for their work as well as a host of divers projects. The name is a direct reference to Barack Obama who was Elected at the time of the label's foundation.
Milano - Neřvi na mě
The second album from Kopřivnice based band Milano is coming out after long 9 years. They have been known for their straight forward music and truthful lyrics. Their new release will be backed by a few live performances. The record is coming out as black 12" vinyl on Piper Records as well a free digital download provided by Election.
