Election Records was founded by Amák (ex-Sunshine, Night) and Jiří (ex-Anyway) in 2008 in London. This pair has extensive experience of the music industry from the smallest indie label to the biggest major. The idea for the label came about because of a dark time in the industry, and is now the platform for their work as well as a host of divers projects. The name is a direct reference to Barack Obama who was Elected at the time of the label's foundation.

A debut album from Slaves Of Stadium Rock out now! Haven't heard of them yet? They're a Prague based heavy rock quartet consisting of current or former members of legendary Czech bands of Anyway, Landmine Spring, Plexis and Slut.
Their debut album was recorded in Spring Sound Village Studios during late 2012 and early 2013.

Wild Tides' new single Watching Grlz Talk dropped on their bandcamp a few weeks back and Letná's favorite band have now set the dates for the release of their new LP titled Hung Loose. So come and get your share of pure americana played as sloppy as only the Tides can! It's a rock'n'roll rollercoaster ride tearing through the doo wop cuteness of the 50s, 60s proto-punk assaults, 70s glam extravaganza and 80s hook heavy minimalism. Hung Loose comes out digitally on the 6th of May and can be acquired on vinyl from the 24th of the same month. Only on Election.
